Legendary authors estate sale allows Detroiters to own belongings

Fans and bargainers attend estate sale for the late Elmore Leonard.

BLOOMFIELD TWP, Mich. – Author Elmore Leonard estate sale is being held at his home in Bloomfield Township.

Everyone has a chance to own some of the novelist's belongings including books from his library and appliances from his kitchen.

Leonard's son, Bill, meet and greets bargainers and fans as they enter the home.

Items are being sold for as low as $1. The estate sale will continue again on Friday -- items may not last throughout the weekend.
