Eastpointe police arrest four suspected of breaking into business through the roof

Police say suspects had homemade harness, saws & gasoline

EASTPOINTE, Mich. – Eastpointe police have arrested four people in connection with a break-in at a CVS last week.

According to police, the group cut a hole in the roof of the CVS located in the 24000 block of Kelly on March 14.

Officers found a sawzall, homemade harness, ropes, additional saws and gasoline.

All four are currently being held at the Macomb County Jail, charged with breaking and entering with intent.

Police say Caleb Haynes, Maurice Lake, Malcolm Williams and Jacob Jackson are also being investigated for possible involvement in several similar crimes in Metro Detroit.
