Man found shot to death in Ypsilanti Township

Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office says shooting stemmed from argument between victim, 2 other men


YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Mich. – The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office said it's looking for two people in connection with a fatal shooting Monday night in Ypsilanti Township.

Deputies responded to a 911 call in the 80 block of Russell Court and found a 22-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound in his upper body.

The victim, whose name has not yet been released, died at a hospital.

Deputies said the shooting was sparked by an argument between two men who had confronted the victim at the home.

"Further information will be given out when it becomes available," the office said in a statement.
