Drunk driver visits police station

66-year-old man arrested at Pittsfield Township police station for drunk driving

PITTSFIELD TOWNNSHIP, Mich – A 66-year-old man, from Livonia, drove to the Pittsfield Township police department to use the restroom Sunday evening.

He was arrested for drunk driving.

According to Pittsfield Township Police, a fire fighter noticed the man appeared to be intoxicated. Police confirmed he had driven to the station and was parked on their property.

A field sobriety test was conducted which the man failed. He submitted to a breath test and his blood alcohol content was determined to be above the legal limit.

The Livonia man was taken to the Washtenaw County Jail until sober. Police are seeking Operating While Intoxicated charges.
