Detroit ticket amnesty program runs May 1-16

30 percent reduction in fines during Detroit Ticket Amnesty

DETROIT – The city of Detroit is offering ticket amnesty beginning May 1 and running through May 16.

During this period you can save 30 percent on fines, but the program does not apply to vehicles that have been booted.

Parking ticket rates are going to increase June 1, 2014 and the city will take a more aggressive approach in enforcing parking tickets.

Fines may be paid from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Fridays at 1001 10th street.
