DETROIT – Detroit Public Schools is hosting a job fair, hoping to fill hundreds of new teacher positions following buyouts.
The district will hold the fair Wednesday and there could be as many as 600 openings.

Openings include positions in arts education, but applications are being accepted for all positions within the district.
The Teacher Career Fair is 4-7 p.m. at Renaissance High School at 6565 W. Outer Dr.
Candidates interested in the teaching positions must first visit detroitk12.org/employment.
