Police searching for man who approached Farmington Hills child

Child safely walked away from stranger

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – The Farmington Hills Police Department is searching for a man that asked an 8-year-old student to get into his vehicle on Friday.

Around 4:30 p.m. the child was approached near the school bus stop located at Cranleigh and Briarwyke drives. The child walked away from the man and went directly home.

The man is described as approximately 6 feet tall, white and skinny. His car is described as white with four doors.

Farmington Hills police will be increasing patrols in the areas of schools and bus stops.
