Salvation Army hiring workers for its metro Detroit thrift stores

DETROIT – The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center is hosting four hiring events Tuesday and Wednesday to fill positions at its metro Detroit thrift stores and warehouses.

Available positions include both full and part-time roles as cashiers and sales clerks, management, truck drivers and mechanics. All applicants must come prepared with a photo identification card and Social Security card. Individuals interested in retail management positions are encouraged to apply with two to five years of supervisory experience, while truck driving candidates need a valid chauffeur's license and DOT card to apply.

Tuesday:

• 9 a.m. to noon at the Auburn Hills store - 605 S. Opdyke Road
• 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Southfield store - 26065 Greenfield Road

Wednesday:

• 9 a.m. to noon at the Sterling Heights store - 35170 Dodge Park Road
• 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Taylor store - 9830 Telegraph Road
