Police searching for man who stole money from pub
Video shows man taking envelope
WATERFORD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police are searching for a man that was seen on camera taking money from Kennedy's Irish Pub on Oct. 27.
Police say the owner of the business, which is located in the 1000 block of W. Huron Street in Waterford Township, told officers that an unknown man walked into the business and asked where the restroom was. Shortly afterwards, the owner noticed that an envelope with start-up money for the cash register was missing.
Police checked the business's closed circuit television and saw the suspect looking behind the counter, and when none of the employees were watching, he took the envelope and walked out.
Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect in the video. You can watch the video below.
