Road closures in Macomb County

MACOMB County – Several road construction projects are affecting motorist across the Macomb County area.

Warren
In Warren, on 10 Mile between Hoover and Schoenherr, a road is closed due to road construction.

Construction workers are installing a new sanitary relief sewer system along the center of 10 Mile Road and a water main along the south side of 10 Mile Road.

Clinton Township/Sterling Heights
In Clinton Township and Sterling Heights, on 18 Mile and Hayes road construction has closed the right northbound lane on 18 Mile Road and westbound lane on Hayes.

Construction workers are replacing the sanitary sewer metering facility.

Macomb Township
In Macomb Township, 24 Mile between Hayes and Romeo Plank is open to local traffic only.

Construction workers are installing a water main along the center of the 24 Mile Road westbound lane.

On 24 Mile, from Springdale to Foss, the road is open for traffic during the winter months. The road construction will continue at a later date. This construction project includes converting a portion of gravel road to a hot mix asphalt surface, drainage and landscape repair.

Shelby Township
In Shelby Township, 24 Mile between Van Dyke and Aurora Drive is open to local traffic only.

Construction workers are installing a water main, along 24 Mile Road's westbound lane.

On the border of Shelby Township and Macomb Township, Hayes Road from 21 Mile to 23 mile Road is undergoing heavy construction that consists of concrete pavement reconstruction and widening, concrete curbs, sidewalks, ramps, storm sewer, payment markings and landscape restoration.
