Shots fired during party at Pittsfield Township UAW Hall

2 women suffer non-life-threatening injuries


PITTSFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Two women were injured in a shooting Sunday morning during a party at a UAW Hall.

Police said a large fight broke out around 2:15 a.m. at the hall in the 4300 block of Concourse Drive just before the shooting.

One of the victims, a 28-year-old woman from Ann Arbor, was taken to the University of Michigan Medical Center. The other victim, a 22-year-old woman from Ypsilanti, was taken to St. Joseph Hospital. The victims' injuries are reportedly non-life-threatening.

Police said there were several shooters involved in the incident.

Police continue investigating the shooting.
