SE Michigan under wind advisory

Snow showers possible on Wednesday

DETROIT – Scattered and lighter Tuesday rain with high temps only in the mid to upper 50s with winds SW 15-30 mph gusting even stronger at times.

The following counties are under a wind advisory until 8 p.m.:

  • Wayne
  • Washtenaw
  • Macomb
  • Livingston
  • Oakland
  • Monroe

A wind advisory means there is the potential for falling branches or power outages.

Some computer model data brings a few snow showers possible on Wednesday. It's not a consistent forecast for any problematic snow and it will likely mix with rain showers as cool and wind continues to be part of the weather headlines tomorrow.

Thursday through the weekend will still be quite cool and breezy but it will be dry. Morning lows midweek through the weekend will dip into the 30s and highs will struggle to hit 50 degrees. Those highs should settle into the mid 50s by the weekend which keep us well below normal or average for a while.
