Police are calling this an accidental shooting. The boy was in the home in the 3000 block of Valencia Circle with a 7-year-old, an 8-year-old and a 9-year-old, but none of the other children were harmed.

Police said it's still unclear who fired the shot that grazed the boy or if there were any adults in the home at the time of the shooting.

The gun belonged to the 4-year-old's mother, who now faces a 4th degree child abuse charge and one count of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, both misdemeanors.
