DETROIT – Even though most of us didn't see quite as much sunshine as we would have liked, Friday turned out to be comfortable with low humidity, a light breeze and temperatures on either side of 70.
We'll carry dry conditions into the weekend, but some of us will get wet at times Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday forecast:
To start out the weekend, humidity will still be low, but increasing through the day. Look for a chance of showers and thunderstorms Saturday evening. But most of the day will be dry. High temperatures will be warmer around 80, and the humidity will be noticeable by mid-afternoon.
Father's Day forecast:
Father's Day on Sunday will start out with a shower or storm, then we'll dry out after lunch. Temperatures will be warmer still, with highs in the mid-80s.
Ford Fireworks forecast:
Monday is the Ford Fireworks. And just like every year it seems, we're watching for some showers and thunderstorms. This won't be an all day event, but pinning down a time is tough right now. A lot depends on how everything unfolds over the weekend. We'll have a cooler high temperature near 80, then enjoy pleasant 70s for fireworks in the evening.
I had a great time down on the Riverwalk at River Days. Food, concerts, plenty of entertainment for the kids and a zip line, too. It seems a lot higher than it really is when you're up there. But give it a shot. Look for the big green towers near Milliken State Park.
WATCH: Ben Bailey does zip line
Have a great weekend! I'll see you from the riverfront again for Fireworks on Monday.
