DETROIT – Police are still seeking information in the 2013 death of a woman who was killed by a stray bullet on Detroit's west side.
SaKendra Mitchell, 19, was killed Aug. 2, 2013, at an annual "Lotto Boys" block party.

Police said an argument broke out between two unidentified men and shots were fired. Mitchell was hit in the head by a stray bullet.Â
Mitchell graduated from Old Redford Academy High, and was enrolled at Oakland Community College  and set to begin classes just weeks after her murder. She was a salesperson at Marshall's in Livonia and aspired to become a nurse.Â
