DETROIT – It's a rut we don't mind being stuck in.
We're finishing another spectacular summer afternoon with warm temperatures, low humidity and sunshine sharing the space with clouds.
Overnight, those clouds will thin out and we'll have another unseasonably cool night. Low temperatures will be in the 50s area-wide, with possibly a 60 degree low inside the city or nearby.
Thursday, there will be very little change. High temperatures will be in the mid-to-upper 70s with plenty of sunshine.
Friday, we're expecting dry conditions, but there may be some showers on radar to our west. Those should fall apart before making to Southeast Michigan.
The 80s return for the weekend, but right now it looks like the rain won't be coming with them. Our next chance of rain will return Sunday night at the earliest -- and possibly not until Monday.
