Weather forecast: Nice week ahead in metro Detroit

DETROIT – This won't take long: It's going to be really nice for most of this week. That's about it.

But if you want to get into the details, here they are:

Skies will stay clear tonight, but temperatures won't be as chilly when we wake up on Tuesday morning. We'll skip the 30s that a few of us saw this morning. Most of us will have lows in the low-to-mid 50s.

Sunshine returns on Tuesday with even warmer highs around 80. Humidity remains low as well.

Really there won't be any noticeable changes until showers and a few thunderstorms move through on Friday. That will keep daytime highs slightly lower. Morning lows will begin in the 60s. Humidity will return to noticeable levels.

Showers will hang around Saturday in spots, with highs in the mid 70s.

Sunday will be dry but even cooler. Highs will peak just above 70. And lows will return to the 50s.
