DETROIT – A woman was killed Wednesday morning when a car lost control on Detroit's west side and crashed into a tree.
Police said the 51-year-old victim was the passenger in the car that lost control on Berg Road near Grand River Avenue and Telegraph Road.

The driver, a 55-year-old man, is hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said their still working to determine what caused the crash.
