NOVI, Mich. – More than a dozen apartments were damaged Thursday morning in a fire at a building in the Glens of Northville apartment complex -- which is near 8 Mile and Meadowbrook roads.
Novi Director of public safety David Malloy said no injuries have been reported, but firefighters have had to back off of the building because the roof has collapsed.
"We believe this began, according to witness accounts, started in a northwest apartment. One of the back apartments," Malloy said.
He added that it's too early to determine a cause.
