Forecast: Sunshine, highs in 70s Thursday in metro Detroit

DETROIT – Another fantastic finish will lead to seasonably cool lows tonight.

Skies will stay clear until fog starts to develop overnight. This fog could be dense in a some spots but won't affect everyone. Lows will fall only to the low-to-mid 50s, slightly milder than our Wednesday morning lows.

Thursday forecast:

On Thursday, we'll return to sunshine and highs in the mid-to-upper 70s. Humidity is still low and should remain there through the forecast.

Friday forecast:

Friday won't be much different. Patchy fog in the morning, plenty of sunshine during the day and highs in the mid-to-upper 70s.

We will likely see more clouds on Saturday and especially on Sunday. But showers should remain south of us. Temperatures will be slightly cooler with the additional clouds, but still will end up in the 70s.

It looks like a cold front will cross through the state early next week, which should bring a chance of rain. Right now the timing and amount of the rain is still up in the air.
