Man carjacked, shot at Detroit gas station


DETROIT – A man was carjacked and shot early Friday morning at a gas station on Detroit's west side.

Police sources told Local 4 the crime happened around 3:30 a.m. at the Valero station on Schoolcraft and Greenfield roads.

Sources said the victim left his car running while he went inside the station and came out to find two men in his silver Ford Escape. They shot him and fled with the SUV.

The victim is hospitalized with multiple gunshot wounds.

Police have not yet released descriptions of who they are looking for.
