Police investigate carjackings on Detroit's west side

DETROIT – Police are looking for two men wanted for several carjackings and possible street robberies on Detroit's west side.

The carjackings and robberies occurred in the area along Greenfield Road between Schoolcraft Avenue and Seven Mile Road.

Police said on Sept. 20, as two men got into their vehicle, two armed men ran up to the SUV, forced them out and stole the vehicle.

The most recent carjacking happened Sunday at a gas station at McNichols Road and St. Mary's Street. As a man walked back to his vehicle from being inside the gas station, the carjackers ran up, shoved a gun into the man's face and took his vehicle.

Anyone with any information on the carjackings is asked to contact law enforcement.
