Detroit teen dies in crash on Davison Freeway
Victim identified as Muhammed Abdo Hussein
DETROIT – A 17-year-old from Detroit was killed Wednesday afternoon when the car he was driving lost control on the Davison Freeway and slammed into a bridge support.
Michigan State Police said Muhammed Abdo Hussein's Nissan was going westbound on the freeway at a "high rate of speed" when it crashed under Dequindre Road.
Police didn't immediately release any other details on the crash investigation.
