DETROIT – Video shows a man break into and rob the Taystee World ice cream shop in the 19100 block of Woodward Avenue in Detroit.
Detroit police are hoping the surveillance video from Oct. 22 will help identify the man. Police say he pried open the drive-through window about 1:50 a.m. and made off with an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.
The video shows him actually take the register drawer with him when he left the same way he entered. Police say he also stole a credit card tablet device.
