ANN ARBOR, Mich. – A 25-year-old Ypsilanti Township man who was arrested in connection with a fatal hit-and-run has been released pending the outcome of the investigation.

"Detectives and the Accident Investigation team are still putting this case together for formal charges due to multiple factors including toxicology results and other forensic and technical considerations. The case will submitted to the Washtenaw County Prosecutor's Office for review upon completion. Suspect has been released pending charges," Ann Arbor police said in a statement.

The suspect is accused of hitting Michael Anthony Curley, 26, early Wednesday morning as Curley biked on Washtenaw Avenue near Brockman Boulevard around 2 a.m.
