Gas prices have dropped below $2 per gallon across Metro Detroit.
Many stations around town have the cash price at $1.97-1.99 per gallon.

Earlier this week, Triple A Michigan reported The statewide average for a gallon of regular is about $2.17.
That's down 17-cents from a week earlier and 83 cents lower than a year ago.
