Psychological evaluations ordered for teens accused in school shooting plot

Police: Teens had "specific targets in mind"

FLINT, Mich. – Psychological evaluations have been ordered for three teenage boys charged with conspiring to shoot people at a pair of Michigan schools.

A competency review hearing for Ryan Stevens, 18, Lamar Dukes, 15, and Cody Brewer, 15, has been set for Jan. 6.

Argentine Township Police Chief Dan Allen said police intercepted information Oct. 28 about the alleged plot. The information was forwarded to the FBI.

Allen said that the teens had "specific targets in mind" at Linden High School and Linden Middle School.

The three teens were arrested on Oct. 29. They're charged as adults with conspiracy to commit first-degree premeditated murder and false report or threat of terrorism.
