The medical examiner's office said the bodies were so burned that dental records were needed to help in the identification process.

The fifth victim is still in critical condition.

The victims, all former or current Osborn High School students, were in a Jeep Cherokee that hit a concrete post and caught fire around 1 a.m. Sunday near East 7 Mile Road and Stotter Street.

Surveillance cameras from a nearby business captured the crash, and footage shows several people rushing to the wreck to try to help.

Police said the cause of the crash is still under investigation, but speed appears to have been a factor.
