DETROIT – It was a Motown sound in Washington D.C. Tuesday, the Detroit Academy of Arts and Sciences Show Choir performed for the president and first lady at the White House.

The group of 25 sung classic holiday songs like, "My Two Front Teeth," "What Christmas Means To Me," and "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town."

The TODAY show has now invited the local Detroit choir to perform during its holiday special.

DAAS has launched a GoFundMe page to raise the money for travel costs and lodging in New York.
