Deputies seize pot brownies from staff room after teacher sickened

HIGHLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. – A teacher at Spring Mills Elementary School in Highland Township said she was sickened after eating a brownie she found in the staff break room, the Oakland County Sheriff's Office reports. 

The 44-year-old teacher tested positive for the presence of THC. Deputies concluded the brownies were laced with marijuana. All brownies were confiscated. 

Other teachers ate the brownies and felt ill but did not seek medical attention.
