Suspect in custody in connection with Salvation Army Kettle theft

Suspect expected to be arraigned Sunday

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. – Farmington Hills police have a suspect in custody in connection with a Salvation Army kettle theft.

The kettle was stolen around 5 p.m. Friday at the Walgreens near Eight Mile Road and Grand River Avenue.

Police said the man stole the kettle after the bell ringer went to go use the bathroom.

The suspect is expected to be arraigned Sunday.
