Mix of sun, clouds on Tuesday

Wind chills in the 30s

DETROIT – Mostly cloudy skies early today with a few light showers possible with minimal moisture leftover from Monday’s rain.

Breezy conditions early also making it feel cool with wind chills in the 30s as you head out. Today will be mostly cloudy to partly sunny and cooler than yesterday, yet still mild. Highs around 50 degrees with winds SW 10-18 mph turning NW 7-13 mph this afternoon.

A cloud and sun combo lingers Wednesday with highs near 50 degrees again if not a bit warmer. Breezes are lighter tomorrow SE 7-14 mph and there is a chance for a light shower late in the day as a cool front approaches.

We have a cool down coming but it’s back to reality considering average December highs are mid 30s.

Thursday looks cooler in the upper 30s to low 40s and only partly sunny skies after an early morning shower. We have a shot at a few flakes Friday but only a dusting at best in spots with cooler 20s and low 30s to end the work and school week.  So, get the FREE Local4Casters Weather and Storm Pins apps free in your app store under WDIV.
