They were caught on surveillance cameras Dec. 9 at a Target store on Hall Road.

The men bought two iPhones and added them to an existing phone contract, but the contract’s account holder, who lives in Maryland, told police he was the victim of identity theft.

Target told the sheriff’s office that the same men had tried to buy phones from other store locations in Troy, Southfield and Warren.

The sheriff’s office also released a picture of a silver 2000 Oldsmobile minivan that the men were seen in.

Anyone with information on the men in the pictures is asked to call 586-307-9358.
