1 year later, still no arrests in 22-year-old woman's murder in Detroit
Christina Samuels shot, killed while sitting in parked car on Carlisle Street
DETROIT – It's been 1 year since a 22-year-old woman was murdered in Detroit, and police still haven't made an arrest in the case.
Christina Samuels was shot to death Dec. 23, 2014 while sitting in the passenger seat of a car on Carlisle Street on Detroit's east side.
Police said it appeared the driver was the intended target but Samuels was hit instead. They are still looking for two men who opened fire from a black Nissan Altima. Police have not released detailed descriptions of the men.
Crime Stoppers has been offering a $2,750 reward to anyone with information which leads to an arrest in this case. Anonymous tips can be called in at 800-SPEAK-UP.
