Woman facing charges for 2 bank robberies in Dearborn Heights

DETROIT – A 35-year-old Detroit woman has been charged in two bank robberies that happened earlier this month in Dearborn Heights.

Candance Glover-Carter is scheduled to be arraigned Friday on bank and armed robbery charges.

The Wayne County Prosecutor's Office said Glover-Carter is accused of getting away with thousands of dollars from a Comerica Bank on Telegraph Road during a robbery on Jan. 14 and from the Dearborn Federal Savings Bank on Telegraph Road on Jan. 19. In both robberies, Glover-Carter told the teller she had a bomb on her, the prosecutor's office said.
