Man charged after child pornography found in desk at work

Peter Blazejcyk worked at Detroit Arsenal in Warren

DETROIT – A Lapeer man having trouble with his work-issued laptop is now facing federal child pornography charges after his boss came across nude photos while trying to help fix it.

According to a criminal complaint filed Friday for Peter Blazejcyk, the former Detroit Arsenal employee brought the laptop to his boss in January.

When his boss clicked on a browse function, nude pictures of Blazejcyk and close-ups of his genitals appeared, according to the complaint.

Blazejcyk apologized for having the nude photos on his work laptop, but also admitted he had sent the photos using his work email to other individuals, according to the complaint.

Detroit Arsenal, a government manufacturing facility in Warren, placed Blazejcyk on administrative leave for misusing his work laptop.

On Feb. 8, Blazejcyk's boss went through his desk at work and found four compact discs. One of the discs labeled "unclassified family pics 11/20/13" contained multiple photos of girls between the ages of 4 and 10 in various sexual poses, according to the complaint.

Blazejcyk's boss contacted the FBI and Blazejcyk was arrested this week.

Blazejcyk admitted to sending and receiving child pornography, according to the complaint.
