Detroit police searching for missing 15-year-old girl

DETROIT – Detroit police are asking the public for help in finding for a missing 15-year-old girl.

Sharonda Henson was last seen Tuesday. She left her home in the 16000 of Ellis Street around 6 p.m.

Henson told her mother she was going to a friend’s house in the 8900 block of Mansfield.

She never made it to the friend’s home.

Henson is described as black, 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighs 130 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black bubble jacket, light blue jeans, gray winter boots and was carrying a multi-colored purse. She is in good physical and mental condition.
