Funeral for Justice Antonin Scalia on Saturday


WASHINGTON, D.C. – The funeral Mass for the late Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia will take place in Washington, D.C. on Saturday.

Thousands of people are expected to attend the funeral Mass, which will be held at the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception located in the nation's capital. 

Vice President Joe Biden is among those expected to attend. 

President Barack Obama paid tribute to Scalia inside the Supreme Court, where Scalia laid in repose.

Burial plans for the justice have not been announced.

One of Scalia's nine children, the Reverend Paul Scalia, will lead the Mass.

Scalia's funeral comes one week after he died at a remote ranch in Texas.
