David Garrett accused of trying to smash window out with rock
ROSEVILLE, Mich. – Roseville police said a tip from the public led them to arrest a 48-year-old homeless man who is accused of trying to smash out a gas station window with a large rock.
David Garrett was taken into custody Sunday, and is charged with one count of breaking and entering.
Garrett allegedly rode a bike to a Kroger gas station at 30200 Gratiot Ave. on the morning of Feb. 6 and smashed in the window, but could not get all the way in.
At the time of the crime, police had released surveillance photos of the break-in with the hope that someone would recognize the man.
