AT&T launches text campaign to collect donations for Flint children

$10 donation per test will benefit Flint Child Health and Development Fund

FLINT, Mich. – AT&T on Wednesday announced the launch of a text-to-give campaign to benefit local children affected by the Flint water crisis.

Donations collected during the giving campaign will support the Flint Child Health and Development Fund of the Community Foundation of Greater Flint. 

“The generosity of Michiganders during the Flint water crisis has been a testament to the character of families in this community and across the state,” said Lieutenant Governor Brian Calley.  “Now, thanks to AT&T, helping Flint’s children is as simple as sending a text message.”

Wireless customers who wish to provide financial support to children affected by the public health crisis can text-to-donate to relief efforts in two easy steps. Donations sent via text-to-donate are added to a customer’s monthly wireless bill.
