Gunman carjacks Detroit woman who was clearing snow off vehicle

DETROIT – A 19-year-old woman found herself face to face with a gunman early Wednesday morning when she went outside to clean the snow off her car.

The woman said she went out to her Dodge Charger on Burlingame Street just after 4 a.m.

"I felt like someone was behind me. When I turned back around, he was right in my face with a gun,” the woman told Local 4. “I screamed and ran to the sidewalk, and he jumped in the car and pulled off."

The gunman got away in her 2006 black Charger , whose license plate is DKH 3329.

"I don't know what he would have done. I'm just glad he didn't do nothing to me,” the woman said. “Cars can be replaced, right? Yeah, my life can’t.”

The woman said the man was dressed all in black and appeared to have been dropped off by a black Yukon before walking down the block to her house.

The only other description is that he was tall, slim and appeared to be between 20 and 25 years old.
