DETROIT – A Taylor man who is accused of leaving the scene after hitting two teens was arraigned Thursday on charges.
Justin Saum, 35, is charged with driving with a suspended license causing death, leaving the scene of an accident causing death, driving with a suspended license causing serious injury and leaving the scene of a serious injury accident.
A not-guilty plea was entered at his arraignment and a judge set bond at $350,000.
Saum allegedly hit Austin McCumber and Marty Jaime, both 17, Sunday night with his pickup truck. Police said the teens ran a stop sign at Joan and Harold Streets, but Saum didn't stay at the scene and left the injured teens.
Jamie was treated and released from a hospital. McCumber was hospitalized for a couple of days before he died from his injuries.

Saum turned himself in to police on Monday.
