Man sexually assaulted after kidnapping from parking lot on Detroit's east side

Victim forced into gray Nissan Altima at gunpoint, police say

DETROIT – A 30-year-old man was kidnapped Friday morning from a Dunkin' Donuts parking lot on Detroit's east side and then sexually assaulted in a park, police said.

The incident was reported near Schoenherr Street and East State Fair Avenue. 

Police said the victim was forced at gunpoint into a gray Nissan Altima that had tinted windows. He was driven to a park, where he was sexually assaulted and robbed of his cellphone, money and keys, police said. 

Police describe the attacker as a black man in his 30s, 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with a beard and mustache. He was wearing a black skull cap and a dark-colored hooded sweatshirt.Â
