ALLEN PARK, Mich. – Dearborn police have one suspect in custody and are searching for a second man in connection to the abduction and rape of a woman in Allen Park.
The woman told police she was abducted by two men Wednesday. They bound her and blindfolded her.
The men drove her car to the Willow Cove apartments in Allen Park and took her into apartment A-7, then forced her into the building’s basement storage are where she was sexually assaulted.
“I just noticed there were quite a few police cars here,” neighbor Linda Caulford said. Caulford lives next door.
Police were waiting for a search warrant.
While investigators went inside, police brought the woman back to the apartments so she could tell them where she was taken. When they pulled up, one of the suspects was standing outside on his phone and was arrested.
