ATLANTA – President Barack Obama will speak at the National Prescription Drug Abuse and Heroin Summit in Atlanta on Tuesday, March 29th.
The annual summit is the largest national collaboration of professionals and advocates impacted by prescription drug abuse and heroin use. The President will participate in a panel discussion to address the epidemic and his administration's efforts to combat it.

The summit comes on the heels of the March 15th recommendations by the CDC for prescribing opiod medications for chronic pain.
