DETROIT – A man is dead and four people are hurt after a shooting Saturday evening, police said.
It happened on Oakland Avenue near Westminster Street in Detroit.
A group of people were working on a vehicle when another vehicle pulled up. Police said there was an argument and the people inside the second vehicle got out. That's when multiple people started shooting.
Police said a 28-year-old man is dead.
Two men and a woman were also hurt in the shooting. Police said a 16-year-old girl was hit by gunfire while in a house. Their injuries are non-life-threatening.
One person has been taken into custody, police said.
