New professional baseball league to host job fair

UTICA, Mich. – A job fair is scheduled to take place in Utica to fill temporary positions at Jimmy John's Field.

The newly created United Shore Professional Baseball League says it is looking to hire around 200 people to fill a wide-range of positions. Which include: food and beverage, customer service, game day operations, ushers/guest services  and parking lot attendants.

The job fair is scheduled from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. today at the Utica Public Library located at 7530 Auburn Rd.

Jimmy John's Field, which is located next to the Utica Public Library is an all-new $12 million dollar ballpark. The ballpark is scheduled to open on May 30, 2016 and will be the home to the Utica Unicorns, Eastside Diamond Hoppers and the Birmingham Bloomfield Beavers.
