CHESTERFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Police are searching for a woman who, they say, is shown on surveillance video stealing a purse at a McDonald's restaurant on 23 Mile Road in Chesterfield Township.
Police said someone accidentally left the purse behind at the restaurant. The thief took the purse and used a credit card from it at several nearby businesses.
The suspect is described as a heavy-set white woman about 30 years old. She was with a 3-or-4-year-old boy.
