Thieves used sledge hammer to break into Detroit pharmacy, police say

3 men take safe, prescription drugs from pharmacy on Plymouth Road

DETROIT – Three men used a sledgehammer to break into a pharmacy Friday morning on Detroit's west side and steal a safe and a "large amount" of prescription drugs, police said. 

The break-in happened in the 15800 block of Plymouth Road. 

Police didn't say what specific drugs were stolen, or what was in the safe, but did release surveillance video of the three men inside the pharmacy.
