DETROIT – Power has been restored to nearly 1,000 DTE Energy customers on Detroit's east side who lost power when an SUV crashed into a pole early Tuesday morning.

The crash happened just before 3 a.m. at Wayburn and Britain streets.
Police have not yet said what caused the crash, or the condition of the driver.
